SmartThings
You're right—Samsung's SmartThings Hub isn't officially available in India through Samsung's own channels. It’s mainly sold in the US, UK, and a few other markets. However, there are a few ways you might be able to get one:
Where to Find a SmartThings Hub in India (Kerala)
Amazon & Flipkart (International Sellers)
Sometimes, international sellers list SmartThings Hubs on Amazon India or Flipkart Global Store. Search for “SmartThings Hub” and check if any are available.
eBay & AliExpress
eBay Global or AliExpress may have sellers shipping to India. Just be careful with shipping times and import duties.
Local Electronics Stores (Grey Market)
Some high-end electronics stores in cities like Kochi, Bangalore, or Chennai may have SmartThings Hubs via parallel imports. Try checking with stores that sell smart home automation products.
Facebook Marketplace & OLX
Some people import hubs and resell them on Facebook Marketplace or OLX India. It’s worth searching for second-hand or unopened units.
Third-Party Smart Home Retailers
Some Indian companies specialize in smart home products and might stock SmartThings Hubs. Websites like: smarthomeindia.com autohomehub.in ststore.in They sometimes import and resell hubs.
Use an International Forwarding Service
If you have a friend or relative abroad (like in the US or UK), you can order a SmartThings Hub from Amazon US and use services like ShipOutFromUSA, MyUS, or Borderlinx to get it shipped to India. Alternative Smart Home Hubs Available in India
If you can’t find a SmartThings Hub, you might consider alternatives that work in India:
Home Assistant (Runs on Raspberry Pi or Mini PC) – More advanced, but fully customizable. Amazon Echo with Zigbee (Echo 4th Gen, Echo Show 10) – Has built-in Zigbee support. Aqara Hub – Works well with Apple HomeKit & Zigbee devices. Tuya Smart Hub – Works with many Zigbee & WiFi smart devices.
