Subject: Request to Remove Mandatory Main Screen Lock Requirement for Secure Folder - Need for Enhanced Convenience.
Dear Samsung Team,
I am a user of the Secure Folder feature and highly value its security capabilities.
However, I would like to suggest removing or making the requirement of a mandatory Main Screen Lock (PIN, Pattern, Password) optional for accessing the Secure Folder.
My request is to allow:
Secure Folder to function as a standalone/independent security mechanism.
Users to have the option to set their Biometric (Fingerprint/Face), PIN, or Pattern only on the Secure Folder, while keeping the main phone screen unlocked for convenience.
Repeatedly unlocking the main screen lock can be inconvenient for daily use. Implementing this change would offer users a choice between convenience and high security, thereby improving the overall User Experience.
