Last time I used Galaxy Grand 2 in 2014, after that I moved to Xiaomi, now after 10 years I thought let's try One UI again... obviously it has improved a lot, but a very common and useful feature is missing there... can't believe nowadays a 5k smartphone of any brand has this feature called "App Lock" but Samsung's devices don't have this important option for their customers, and price of this phone is Rs. 1 lakh 40 thousand and we need to install third party app to protect our privacy ! Why don't they understand that "Secure Folder" is not the solution or not every user wants to use this difficult feature... We don't want to hide the each app and move it to secure folder to lock.. we want to keep the app in app drawer also at the same time want to keep the app lock without or hiding it or from moving it to anywhere.... As a ex MIUI fan now I feel that my decision was wrong to move OneUI.
I will sold my S24 ultra if Samsung's team don't respond on this query and if they don't add this simple "Inbuilt App Lock" feature via OS update very soon, Kindly note that something is much important to us than money which is called user's privacy.
Both are different, secure folder is not the solution. Why user need to create a duplicate app just to lock it ? They should add direct app lock feature also, let users decide which feature they want to use .
