Wasnt the feature to lock separate apps individually better,  along with secure folder ?
 What if I wanna lock my gallery and still access it in main apps page ??!!

No, there is no inbuilt separate lock apps. You can download it from playstore. Or you can keep it in Secure folder and make a shortcut of Galary to keep it on Homescreen.
