To set up App Lock on a Samsung device, you can follow the steps below:

Step 1: Open the Settings app on your Samsung device. You can access the Settings app from the app drawer or by swiping down on the notification panel and tapping on the gear icon.

Step 2: In the Settings menu, scroll down and tap on "Biometrics and security" or "Lock screen and security", depending on your device's software version.

Step 3: Under the Biometrics and security or Lock screen and security menu, you may find an option called "App Lock" or "Secure Folder". Tap on it to proceed.

Step 4: If you haven't set up any lock screen security, such as PIN, password, or fingerprint, you will be prompted to set up one at this point. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up a lock screen security method of your choice.

Step 5: After setting up the lock screen security, you can select the apps you want to lock with App Lock. You can either toggle on the switch next to each app or tap on the apps you want to lock.

Step 6: Once you have selected the apps to lock, you may be prompted to confirm your lock screen security method (e.g., enter your PIN, password, or scan your fingerprint) to enable App Lock.

Step 7: Once App Lock is enabled, the apps you selected will now require the lock screen security method you set up in order to access them.
