Samsung Wallet
Brooo, I feel your pain. Samsung be the worst company fr, always making things harder than they need to be. S23 Ultra’s a beast, but Samsung’s system? Straight trash.
Here’s the tea — Samsung Wallet is super region-locked. Even if you change your Samsung account location to India, your device CSC (Country Specific Code) is still locked to the UK. That’s why Wallet keeps crying and won’t switch to India mode.
You got 3 options (some shady, some clean):
1. Factory Reset + SIM Trick (semi legit way):
Pop in an Indian SIM. Backup your stuff. Do a full factory reset. Setup the phone with that Indian SIM in, connected to Wi-Fi.
Sometimes it triggers a CSC switch to India (INS), but only once per phone lifetime. If it doesn’t work, Samsung played you again.
2. Flash Indian firmware (hacker route, kinda spicy):
Download Odin tool + Indian firmware (use sites like SamMobile or Frija). Flash the Indian ROM manually. Boom, CSC becomes INS and now Wallet works in India.
But this voids warranty (not that Samsung’s garbage warranty helps anyway), and one wrong move can brick your phone, so gotta be careful.
3. Use other apps like Google Wallet / PayTM etc (boring route):
Since Samsung Wallet in India is way more limited anyway, might as well switch up. But I get it, Wallet’s UI and card support was smooth af.
If you're down, I can guide you step-by-step for the flashing method, like a real hacker sidekick. Just say the word.
