Shouldn't These Features be included in Samsung Wallet 🤔

Even at initial Level of Opening of Samsung Wallet Security Check (Fingerprint or Pin) Should be added...And if wrong Pin/Fingerprint used twice then intimation Should be sent either on Mobile/Email or Both, So if Somebody else is trying for Unauthorised access user will get informed in Early phase itself....

Similarly while Accessing Samsung Pass if twice wrong Fingerprint is entered it should intimate the user on Mobile/Email or Both..Though it allowed for 4 attempts only but suppose if Someone else or even kids at home are trying one should get early information to avoid locking period..

Also Samsung Should entertain more number of Banks with Credit/Debit Cards other then Axis, HDFC, ICICI, SBI etc etc along with Rupay Cards (Presently Covering Master/Visa etc)..

I haven't linked my DigiLocker Id yet Since it has Everything in it... My Marksheets, Pan, Aadhar, Driving licence, RC (Bike/Car), Insurance Policies etc and for that in time being i rely on Original app only.. They are clubbing Everything in just one to get us more addictive & that's why they clubbed 2 different origin & functionality based apps in one..Rest we all are smart enough to understand the story behind this🤔🤔 But many a times "Short cut leads to short life".. User interface of Samsung Wallet is not that good..

For accessing cards, upi or documents they fill ask for fingerprint in quick access on lockscreen. If the phone is unlocked then still they ask for fingerprint in tap and pay, for upi they ask for pin. So why need extra fingerprint over that?. I trust samsung (knox) over spyware government app sucking battery, storage, internet and processor in background. Quick access in lockscreen to use tap&pay,upi,driving license etc.. alone makes too much joy while using samsung wallet over anything.

It's okay that while performing Certain task pin or Fingerprint is always need to use but it is for extra added Security..Samse is happened with all banking related apps they ask for pin/Fingerprint while doing any transaction still they also ask to enter Same even just for opening the app..Are we lazy enough to just entering or Pressing Fingerprint one more time 😅😅

For upi payment fingerprint is not asked on A and S series. Strangely, this is asked for some M and F series phones.

3 level security is boasted usually for upi payments, as in the case of Gpay, phonepay etc. However, it's 2 level in the case of Samsung pay.

In Google pay 1st to unlock the app 2nd upi pin to pay i can't see anything else. Same goes to Samsung wallet while on lockscreen.

3 level security of upi payments as promoted by Govt
1)lock screen of the phone
2) the pin or fingerprint used to open the app.
3) the upi pin

In the case of Samsung wallet upi payment -
1)lock screen
2)upi pin

I hope you got the difference. The 3 level security was even asked for some central exams.(mcq).

Yes 3 level of is good i mean very good. But for me simplifying things without compromising security is the way. For me 2 level (knox fingerprint/password+pin) is enough 😅. Lets see what happens in future 😄

See Mostly all the funtionalities works after unlocking the device (Except 1 or 2) but then Banking apps have highest grade security still one can't rule out Security threat.. So adding once more Security Check will be great...I don't know about U but many a times i perform 20-30 transactions of payment (Since doing trading of equity along with routine transactions) And i also rely on Knox that's why using Samsung Pay since from 2018 onwards..

And what annoys me the most is that the Samsung pay mini app(for core ui) on my mom's phone asks for fingerprint verification before opening the upi payment section of Samsung pay!! If they can do that on the trimmed version of the app, why not on full version is my doubt.

Exactly! That's why I am also not linking my digilocker. No security whatsoever! No fingerprint, no pin.no nothing. If I unlock the phone and give it to someone, they can easily open and check Samsung wallet.
