Disable Samsung pay banner ads

This is just cheap and nasty. Why do we need these? Looking at the Apple pay experience and then using this feels like such a let down. Especially when I paid $1300 for my phone.

Also, if younare going to shove ads down our throat, at least make them smart. I already have the watch, and it is paired with my phone.. you would think you could optimise the ads for that much at least.

please try going into the settings and uncheck this option ( pic attached )and then force stop the app for it to reflect or restart your phone.
and take it easy man, it is just a banner not a pop up

In my experience, unchecking that option doesn't impact those banner ads. I've had it unchecked for weeks, across multiple restarts, and I still see banner ads. I think it might be related to push notifications from the app rather than the banner within the app.

Agreed. There should at the very least be an option to turn these promo banners off. I don't want to see a promo about washing machines when trying to purchase groceries. 

Very poor to try and force people to purchasing stuff they don't need. This must be fixed ASAP.

At least remove the ad that fills the whole screen while right in the middle of making a purchase.

Soy f'n annoying to look to clear a full-screen ad while in the middle of the transaction at the register.

These banner ads are atrocious, just bought an S21 ultra but will probably send it back.

Might have to bite the bullet and move all my cards to Google pay...

Very annoying seeing these banner ads. May have to change to GPay
