I have enabled the maximum battery protection feature on my Samsung Galaxy S24 to prevent the battery from constant charging while using the Dex with my USB-C monitor. However, I have observed that the battery discharges to 79% after charging to 80% and does not discharge any further. I would like to know if the battery is receiving a trickle charge or if the phone is bypassing the battery and directly using the power from the USB-C port at 79% and thats why its not discharging further.
