Issue with my Z fold 3

The hinge has become very rough and cracizng sounds whenever I open and close.

Also now if I completely only the main screen volume stops. When I start folding it, volume resumes. 

Is this why I.purchase such a phone for such premium.cost?

I have received the phone back as the part was replaced. It's working OK as of now but not happy with the hassle I had to go through. Was expecting a replacement for the value I paid
