I bought the S21 plus over a month. Applied for the "free gift" and got an email saying that someone will contact for delivery details. After 14 days, I called and they need the inboice again. I sent it, got an email to say all is in order, someone will contact me. 14 days later, I call again and they now want an invoice with the IMEI no, explained that Takealot does not add that info to invoices. The invoice reflects the type of phone I purchased, I gave them the IMEI no. Just sounds like they don't or can't honour their offer.

I must say I am experiencing the exact same problem. Not receiving promotional gifts as promised😑

Who did you phone? Same happend to me. Applied on the 16th Feb, but havent heard from them yet.

Please email an invoice that shows the IMEI number, model number and date of purchase to verify@samsung.com for revalidation of the claim, use your reference number as the subject line.

Hi, I told Antoinette yesterday, Takealot doesn't add that to their invoice. I requested it again yesterday and got the same response. I gave the IMEI no , I asked for the verify team to contact Takealot but apparently that's not in your scope of duties. I'm not sure what else to do. Feel like Samsung wants everyone to give up so they don't carry the blame

Same story with me even though I have the correct invoice. Sent to verify@samsung, but every 14 days when I phone back it's still showing up unverified. Extremely frustrating and also beginning to feel like this is a lie.

Yes guys. I know it's very frustrating. I'm still awaiting my promotional TV after being given the reference number.

Don't bother with verify@samsung.com they don't reply

Got a xall about a week ago, the lady said the would escalate the issue, that someone would call me in 48 hours. Still haven't heard from anyone. I'm not holding my breath. Lesson leant Samsung, next upgrade will definitely not be your brand. ☹😠
