M series is on quarterly updates..and try to uninstall 3rd party apps..if they are not so useful..also, optimize your device..restart your device or schedule it to auto restart once or twice in a week..put all apps to immediate sleep mode when are not in use..

Not only M series all low end devices are on quarterly updates
