coz a lot of customisations are needed to be done in the touchwiz skin..samsung provides a ton features in comparison to a stock android..hence they also need to optimize those stuff..faster updates are only possible if an oem is providing stock android or near to stock build like oneplus..nokia..etc

However, updates are released through FOTA in waves only, so we’re unable to determine when your device will receive an update as updates are created by Google and released to manufacturers to ensure compatibility.
