Wifi Direct unusable with other brand devices

The Wifi Direct share is not compatible with other brand devices till date...
The devices do get connected, but there's not any file-sharing...
Why and how the problem persists?
This exists with any Samsung device trying to connect with other phones...
But it works perfectly for Samsung to Samsung sharing...

If it were like you're saying, I wouldn't have got connection to my Sony TV

bro. it will connect to every device but you can't share files expect Samsung devices.
connecting isn't imp. sharing is imp.

Thanks for Being a part of Samsung community. Would like to tell you that please check whether the other device support wifi direct connectivity also would like to tell you please check the respective device settings then try.
If still persist the same issue The relevant department may serve you better/speedily, if you can provide logs/video by registering this feedback in Error Section (Samsung Members App -> Feedback -> Questions/Errors -> Create -> Error reports).
