I keep on saying that Chinese OEMs/ODMs are Comprised on Privacy & Security Parameters..Since most of them having Server in China and your Data is at higher risk, though Oneplus has Conveyed that they have Server in India for Indian Region Phones but for others still doubtful..Even who knows they (OnePlus) have Synchronisation of Local Server with Main Server...May be or may not🤔 Since Chinese are not reliable at all...

Second and most important why I never prefer OnePlus over these Branded Phones Because of One big Security Threat....
Mostly in All High-Mid/High range Smartphones from Samsung You are not able to Power Off Or Increase/Decrease Sound (Ringtone,Media) in Samsung Device without Entering your Security Credentials in Device Lock Condition Nor you able to Disable/Off or Enable/On like Mobile Data, Wifi, Aeroplane mode etc when Enable One Setting in Secure Lock Settings →Lock Network & Security .But Not So with OnePlus, here I am taking example of OnePlus7. You can Power Off OnePlus7 in lock Condition and it doesn't ask for Security Credentials, it's a really big Security Threat, Since one can Stole your Phone and can easily make it Switched-Off and put it into the pocket and you are not able to trace it by Calling even if the Person is with you in Same Bus or at same Place...

Though one can Disable quick settings panel on lock screen in OnePlus7, So you can just protect of using Mobile Data, Wifi, Aeroplane mode in lock Condition..But You Can Power Off and increase or Decrease the ringtone in lock Condition...Is not these are big threat to the Security...Since making your Phone Silent on lock condition is also a big threat and this is why I consider Samsung Over Oneplus, though I bit disappointed with Samsung in terms of delay in Updates & Feature removal Policy...But I Focus more on Security & Privacy So I'll prefer Samsung over OnePlus and if at any point I have to leave Samsung then I'll go with Lg/Nokia/iPhone etc..By Seeing these Security Parameters...With Lg it is same as that of Samsung but about Nokia I am not aware....What's your Choice ???

@impromptu
bill was passed
but not yet implemented

for other reply:

i mention

i hmd bought Nokia from Microsoft (HMD formed by Nokia employees and they bought Nokia)

Along with employees of Nokia Foxconn was also partially bought the Nokia by agreeing to build phone.

i can't explain that as it is irrelevant here....

also
thanks for your response

@Gst26

Sony is still making phones but they aren't selling well,
in fact Sony phones are best Android video taking phones out there, but i guess market is low for that.

I'm not calling Nokia a Chinese company but saying it's ownership has Chinese company as you referenced could in China would be bad as a owner of a company has Chinese ties you could be at risk in future . (anyways i don't care about Nokia now)

i did Comment in ref to your cloud storage .

that feature is a software one and if anyone stole a phone in real, could reset it with pc without even unlocking it .

but

real problem is when your phone is stolen and if they could access your data.

Android has good protection against it and i think Samsung is a step ahead in those terms.

@immi007..Even I have forgotten to some extent.. Kyunki Nokia ki kahani badi uljhi Hui hai Pahle Nokia partnership Mein Microsoft ke sath Aaya FIR Microsoft ne (Mid 2014) usko khareed liya FIR hmd ne usmein interest dikhaya Nokia alag Hui FIR purani Nokia ne Alcatel ke sath collaboration Kiya Microsoft ka Das saal ka agreement khatm hua FIR hmd se wapas Nokia Ho gai pata nahin bahut Jhol hai😂😜🤣... but in middle of 2014 Nokia was acquired by Microsoft letter in 2016 it goes to hmd but name remains the same Nokia... hmd and foxconn has a joint venture with each other... and Sony of course gradually and slowly moving away from the smartphone market since we used to see very very few smartphones.. everybody is having a tough challenges by these Chinese companies

Immi007 Bro... I have highlighted these security parameters just for on the spot Issue realisation (when you came to know immediately your phone is stolen then only and in that case you can try by calling a phone aur by tracing a phone immediately online through the location)... bad Mein To bahut Kuchh ho jata hai bhai yah Hindustan hai yahan iPhone ka jugad karke usko Bangladesh Nepal Bhutan bhej diya jata hai 🤣😜😂 IMEI change kar di jaati hai Android phone ki aur FIR us phone ko jismein ki Samsung bhi aata hai Bangladesh Nepal Bhutan aisi jagah bhej diya jata hai....😂🤣

HMD Global has acquired rights to sell mobile under brand name NOKIA. HMD global does not own nokia. NOKIA is now into hardware business now.

@Gst 26 Agreed 👍

Sony is in bad shape and yes, they are losing market

but i give one thing to then they didn't lose hardware quality over time.

Thank you for highlighting these security concerns bro.

But on one aspect even Samsung needs to work as from Volume button you can't increase or decrease the Volume but from Quick Settings Control panal you can Enable or disable General/Silent ringtone Profile, which I believe is also to be restricted in lock Condition....This I just Observed...
