Whatsapp keeps stop working

Yesterday onwards my whatsapp keeps crashing. I cant even use it. Whenever i open the app it crashes. Does anyone face such issue on your s23 ultra?

Me also tried that but for me I can't able to retrieve backup also its keeps on closing

This is the only step that worked for me.. u need to reinstall and not restore data from cloud

This seems to be a growing issue with a lot of the Samsung phones sinces yesterday evening.. something has changed at the backend software resulting in the crash

Clearing the app cache is kind of like a cleanse for your apps. It will get rid of residual files that could be slowing down the app.
Open Settings, and then swipe to and tap Apps. Select or search for the app you want to clear. Tap Storage, and then tap Clear cache.
