Update for Jio Users (India)

I recently encountered a problem with my Jio network. The net speed goes down to 0.1 Mb/s when I moved to Pune from Nagpur ( turning on roaming all the other necessary stuff has already been tried).

When I contacted Jio, they said that it was a problem all Samsung user were/are facing. And that I need to download a firmware OTA update to fix it.

So, my question is - is this really legit? Are all Samsung user really facing this problem of slow net speeds when moving between cities. If yes, is there really an OTA update, cuz my software is up-to-date.

I'm really confused because I think Jio is just fooling people to cover their horrible network connectivity.

I request Samsung to clear things up, as they're partly blaming the brand.

I'm using jio in Pune. it's just the network. nothing to do with the phone.

This should not be a problem on part of Samsung if moving from one city to other city causes your Jio network problems, try using a different operator to ensure if data over roaming is generally affected, which should not occur.

Moving to a densely populated area of Jio users have shown lower speeds, I experienced in both Samsung and non Samsung phones. That's a Jio problem and expect it from services which provide you free service and suddenly everyone is using it.

i live in delhi in my house max speed is 120 kbps
while when i go outside there is 1 mbps
my college is in noida sec 62 where speed is max speed is 11 mbps
