Third party launchers are unusable after android 12 update

After the recent One Ui 4 update on my S20 FE 5G, all the third party launchers like Nova Launcher, Lawnchair, etc have been hard to use. Earlier clicking on empty space in the recent apps menu would take me back to the homescreen of that launcher but now the empty spaces are non responsive. The same works on the stock One Ui launcher but it's not available on third party launchers. Hope Samsung fixes it in some security update.

Hmm... The third party apps should adopt to one ui4. They will probably release new updates with one ui 4 compatibility.

I am using Microsoft launcher and haven't faced a single issue so far on the same device. 😁

Try that one if u wanna.

I tried in that as well but it is giving this issue in gesture as well as button navigation.

Yes same issue with nova...to open apps needed to tap two times... it's happening while gestures on...in navigation bar no issue

Samsung can easily give a substitute for the quick switch magisk module but it just doesn't want to give it just to keep it's stock launcher more importance. Material you was available long ago before Google implemented it. Hope Samsung solves this minor but game changer issue.
