Things to preform after every major or semi-major software updates:

1. Turn-off every apps running in the background.

2. Reset settings only (only applicable if there is some sort of problem bring faced you'll).

3. Resetting App preferences.

4. Resetting your battery (completely discharging and then recharging back to 100%).

5. Putting as much performance pressure as possible at least one or two time after updating your software.

6. Resetting your device care engine by manually clearing RAM.

*Listed "must do..." options are my personal observations that let's me extract the best performance out of my phone.
