Qualcomm has already introduced us to its latest Snapdragon 855 chipset and while we assumed that Samsung would be the first to debut its Galaxy S10 series with this chipset, we have been proven wrong.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau on stage at the second day of the Qualcomm Tech Summit not only talked about the company's partnership with the chip maker but also surprised us by revealing that their upcoming flagship is going to be the first one to feature the Snapdragon 855 chipset.

The upcoming OnePlus flagship will be different from the company's existing flagship lineup, with an increased $200-$300 price tag.

It is the official partnership between Qualcomm & OnePlus. So I don't think so that either OnePlus or Qualcomm is lying about it and definitely it will be launched all over the world.

What's interesting about this is, OnePlus sent out official press releases in Europe saying they and EE would be "the first" to offer a 5G phone in Europe. So... not first "in the world", but "first in Europe"?
