The edge panels can actually be useful,ad I dis covered. You can go on rhe edge panel settings and add clipnoard from the galaxy store,it's actually quite nifty. You can go into your notes for example and slide the edge panel and you wull find all your copied content there and with a simple drag and drop get it imto your notes,it actually becomes even more simple if you have the s-pen,see my attached screen shots. There is even more,you can get a ruler and a compass and a level function from the edge panels,see attached, hope you find it useful
Maybe after an update. Just go search for edge panels in settings and select the check box
