So I've been using Samsung Freestyle Projector for two weeks now. And I want to share my thoughts about it.
The device is only 1.6 kg so it can be carried to anywhere and even to your friend's house house for party. The hinge is very sturdy and allows the projector to be angled at multiple positions.
The projector has two ports: one usb type-c for powering the device and one mini-HDMI for connecting devices like Laptop. You can wirelessly stream content from your Galaxy Device as well.
Projector runs Tizen OS which is also available on Samsung SmarTVs. So you won't have to worry about apps.
The projector has speaker as well with 360 degree surround sound effect. That means sound appears to be coming from multiple sources. In my experience I never felt the need for a better or bigger speaker. You can pair that as well using Bluetooth if you want.
Device comes with a remote to control it. You can also use your Galaxy device as a remote to control it.
The device automatically adjusts the the video depending on the angle and distance from projecting screen. Image quality is also amazing! You don't feel like you're using a projector! Feels like a TV!
Conclusion: If you're someone like me who lives in a rented accommodation and cannot have a smartTV, this device is a perfect solution. I really feel like Samsung has created a really good product with Freestyle.
