Hi Everyone
I went to beach last Friday and my phone got water while I taking photos to my friend. The wave is not to mush so I didn't expect that my phone got Damage.
I notice after 2 days my phone can't charge using USB charger.
I bring it to customer service and they telling to me that I need to pay it for a new USB Port. They telling to me that salty water is not included in warranty. This make me sad. I wrote this to know if really salty water is not included in warranty? Please let me know if this not included or just lying to make money.

Hi there, even though your device is water resistant, water damages doesn't have warranty cover. Not only water, any kind of liquid ingress will void warranty.
When exposed to liquids, the first few parts to come in contact with water are 1. Charging port, 2. Mics, 3. Speakers, 4. Spen (if available)
Once come in contact with liquid, all these parts should be cleaned with care especially the USB port. You can simply blow some air into the port until its clean. It's important not to charge the device until its dry. I believe your device must have shown an error that the USB port is wet. Why did you ignore that error msg?
