The advent of the points system in the samsung members app is certainly a welcome step. But a lot of members here are simply misusing this points system to garner more and more points by simply posting or commenting worthless stuff which really is of no use towards a productive discussion on the forum. Most of these posts are simply one liners, without any context or relevant information. I do not intend to curb anyone's freedom of speech but in the midst of these nonsensical posts the relevant posts get overshadowed and become tough to find. A few example of such posts...
1. When is the update coming ? More than half of the posts here are pertaining to this topic. Asking the same question over and over and over again. I mean what's the point?
2. Peole commenting smileys and other blabber on relevant posts, and posting multiple comments for the something which can be said in a single sentence.
3. Posting shady website links and trying to spam other members here. I recently saw one user posting bitcoin website link, other some shady friendship website etc. They are abound.
4. People posting ads for other mobile companies. I mean what is the use of it here? If you are not happy with samsung go buy it.
5. A couple of users are just creating new posts by simply typing stuff like "gfhfhfdhdj" , "ffffyysydj" etc.
All of this only to increase their points or kill their joblessness which these members certainly seem to be.
The adverse impact of this is:
1. No fruitful discussion can take place between members.
2. Other members do not get information of relevant posts and common problems a user is facing.
3. The conversation is really not about topics which matter to you, to samsung or to us members.
So my humble request to Samsung is to put a check on such frivolous posts. And to my fellow community members to report such posts when you spot them.
