I can't properly understand what is RAM Plus. I have heard that it increase RAM, I have enabled it but still showing same RAM on my phone. Doesn't it increase RAM? So how actually it works?

Thanks 😃

It uses your internal memory if in case your running apps uses all your RAM to make your experience and apps run smoothly without any jitters. It will use extra RAM only when your existing RAM is almost used up.

To be honest, it's just a kind of gimmick.
There's actually no performance increase on a *big* margin.
It uses a part of ur storage as ram

To understand why I recommend you read till the end (sorry for ton of text).

Memory(RAM) and Storage (ROM) work the same but are used very differently.
RAM is used to store data for a short period of time. Its advantage is that its extremely fast compared to ROM which is good because the data is always accessed, but also very battery hungry and ONLY keeps the data if powered on.
ROM is your storage, and it's used to store things long term. It's way slower than RAM but doesn't have to be powered to store things (that's why when you turn off your phone it doesn’t delete everything, unlike RAM), which means consumption is very less.
What RAM plus does is use Storage as Memory if you run out of RAM (while playing a heavy game for example). Your amount of RAM is the SAME, but if ever you run out of it, instead of crashing the game, it will use Storage which, while way slower, is still better than nothing.

It the same concept as swap space or a swap file in windows/linux. In case the ram get filled , the OS will use the storage as temporary ram('extend' the ram) .

If you want to have a detailed understanding then google search swap space or swap file🙂
