I'm experiencing a heating issue with my Samsung galaxy s23 ultra. The device gets quite warm during [e.g., charging, gaming, video calls, restarting, camera, etc.], and also draining battery quickly it's uncomfortable to use after a while.

I've tried [ restarting, clearing apps, software updates], but the problem still exists.

Please let me know if anyone else is facing this or if there’s a solution available.

Summer na baba even weather plays a role normally a phone should be used in a 25C to 30C setting and mainly also depends on your usage patterns and charging patterns and which charger you use

Backup your device and factory reset. Will just take 1 hour to restore everything.

It should. Backup device using smart switch. After factory reset, do the following.

1. except essential apps, put all your apps into deep sleep mode, occasional notification apps in sleep mode
2. turn off unnecessary options like wifi scanning, bluetooth scanning, nearby device scanning
3. Turn off location, Bluetooth and nfc when not in use.
4. Use "light" performance mode if you want.
5. Restart device once in every week.
6. Screen timeout 30 secs
7. Turn on data saver under connections
8. Using 5g is upto you, but understand that will drain more battery. I'll suggest using LTE and use 5g whenever required.
9. I won't suggest using power savings mode since it restricts 120hz refresh rate, Use it if you wish.

Use this and wait for 3 days and inform if you find any changes.
