The new One UI 7.0 brings a few changes to the appearance of lock screen and app drawer, some of which I don't really like. Here is my feedback and a few suggestions regarding the same.
The lockscreen:
Action buttons:
The action buttons at the bottom of the screen feel larger than before, it maybe to fit the new now bar for live notifications, but I don't want the now bar at the bottom of my screen. I would suggest a return to the previous size/appearance of the action buttons and to be able to move the now bar. I wish to adjust the now bar by my own, or atleast have some other options to set it.
Notifications:
The notifications panel currently has 3 ways to display notifications on lockscreen, of which I like none. I loved the previous way of displaying notification icons, below the time widget. Can we get a toggle to have notifications icons that way? For the current ways to display-
The appearance of dot in the status bar doesn't tell me how many new notifications are there, I can easily miss it.
The Cards cover up most of the space on the lockscreen
The current icons on the top feel congested with the other things in the status bar.
The app drawer:
Search bar:
In the new One UI 7.0 the search bar appears at the bottom of the app drawer, can we switch it again to the top? If not then can we atleast have a way of setting it in the settings?
Rest all the updates regarding appearance are good. They will take some time for me to adjust to them and will eventually get used to them.
