Samsung made its mark in the display segment along with its presence into the internet enabled phones with the device C100, which was also, my firstever Samsung phone. Not really sure if it is fit for the smartphone tag but below is a picture of the device

This device, launched in early 2003, is still way out of league for the category of even the modern day feature phones. And had cool animations to play around with the UI on top of the design excellence.
But if not this, then the Samsung Corby Pro is my first ever Samsung smartphone. Powered by Bada, it still could much of what the entry level smartphones are meant for today. From Internet to Apps and yes, the Games had made Corby a movement than just a smartphone line up. Varying in colours, features to the design as per the target user (Business User to Youngsters), it was one of the best devices ever made by Samsung.
The line up included famous variants like the Samsung Corby Pop, Corby Pro, Corby Mate and Corby II.
The UI on this device was named as Touchwiz 1.0 and it feels like it is the early designs of the famous Samsung UI.
