I am considering to buy an Samsung AC for winters to use the heat mode but cannot find anywhere on the specification page weather it generates heat.

If someone can help me answer this  Model No -AR18TY3CWK Inverter split AC? Is this model hot and cold AC

Unless you are using AC on Continuously buying Inverter AC doesn't make any sense.

If you get inverter hot and cold ac with heat pump. then definitely go with it.
But they dont work in extreme temperatures.
And cooling wont be effective as compared to cooling only inverter AC.

Better go with Voltas. I have in my home and pretty happy with the Service.
