I have a situation. I have many hd and fhd movies in dual audio Hindi and English. I used to run them in vlc player on laptop. The vlc player has a feature that if we have another dubbed audio for the same video, and it is also saved with same prefixed file name, it shows that audio automatically in audio track options in vlc player, but it is in another file.

Now I plan to purchase a 4k led for home, and I downloaded few same movies in 4k quality. But they are only in English audio..

now I have two options. Option one is, extract hindi audio from previously downloaded fhd or hd movie and add audio track or recompile it into 4k video file. Which will take time for recompiling file.

Another is if I extracted hindi audio track from hd or fhd movie, and save in same folder as 4k video file is, with same prefixed name, and connect external HDD to 4k led. Will the default player recognise seperate audio file as another audio track for the same movie?

Also if not, can we install vlc on led tv? It support using another audio track from same file for the same video.

You can play the video in vlc on your phone and cast it to your tv. Or you can install it in your TV if it runs android tv. I'm not sure whether Samsung tv app store has vlc

Running vlc on smartphone and casting to led is not fully effective, as it may lag over wifi for playing 4k video.
