Apple has released the Apple Music Classical app for Android smartphones and tablets.

Apple Music Classical app can be now installed on Samsung smartphone and tablet from the Google Play Store. If a user has an Apple Music subscription, they can listen to music on Apple Music Classical using the same subscription. The app offers more than 5 million classical soundtracks and symphonies in Hi-Res Lossless (192 kHz/24-bit) quality and Dolby Atmos. It handles metadata very differently than the standard Apple Music app, and that’s what separates it from Apple Music. It has longer and more detailed titles, multiple artists for each work, and hundreds of recordings of well-known pieces.

The Apple Music Classical app for Android is based on Primephonic’s Android app.

The Apple Music Classical app doesn’t support Google Cast Audio natively on Android, but users can cast it's audio from the music player widget from the notification center. Currently, it doesn’t support Android Auto.
