My suggestion for Hotspot

Please add option to block any device from connecting to our Hotspot. For example, when I turn on my Hotspot, my Android TV automatically connects to my Smartphone. Then it drain my whole Data plan. Please add option to block a device from connecting to Hotspot. Also, please add option to Unblock that device again, so that it can connect again.

I HAVE ALL THIS
OPTION AS
ALLOWED DEVICES FOR HOTSPOT CONNECTIONS
IN HOTSPOT SETTINGS
ON MY J7PRIME2 !

WE CAN ADD THAT DEVICE WHICH CAN CONNECT YOUR HOTSPOT
AND PREVENT OTHER DEVICE DESPITE HAVING PASSWORD OR PREVIOUS CONNECTED

Its available upto android 9. Removed since 10. No clue why they did it.

Same problem. When I on Hotspot, our Sony Android TV automatically connects and consumes more data.

There is an option in Hotspot setting that allow certain devices to connect 🤔
That's gone missing after some security patch wqit
