Hello Samsung Members!
I love that Samsung is asking the community for ideas, so here are a few features I'd genuinely love to see in Samsung Contacts. These are small additions, but I think they could make a big difference in everyday life.
📍 Smart Saved Locations
Many of us receive home, office or shop locations on WhatsApp, but after a few days they're lost in old chats. Imagine if Galaxy AI detected a shared location and asked, "Would you like to save this to a contact?" You could save it as Home, Office, Shop or a custom label, making navigation just one tap away whenever you open that contact.
🧠 AI Relationship Timeline
It would be wonderful if each contact had a private timeline showing important memories like photos together (with permission), birthdays, notes, important dates and milestones. It would make every contact feel more meaningful and organised.
📸 Dynamic Contact Photos
Galaxy AI could suggest your latest and best photo with a contact and update it after your approval. During incoming calls, those memories could appear as a beautiful full-screen background, making calls feel much more personal.
⌚ Galaxy Watch Smart Reminders
Imagine your Galaxy Watch gently reminding you, "You haven't spoken to your parents in a while" or "Today is your friend's birthday." One tap could instantly start a call or open a message.
🎉 AI Memory Greetings
Instead of a simple birthday reminder, Galaxy AI could create a personalised greeting card or short memory collage using shared photos, ready to send instantly.
These are just a few ideas that came to my mind.
I think they would make Samsung Contacts feel even smarter while keeping the experience simple and useful.
