Incoming and outgoing call are stopped after updating phone

I have updated my Samsung Galaxy S8+ software as it has asked fir an hour back. And since then i cannot make calls and people who are calling me, to them my phone is showing switched off. I don't know how come it is possible as my mobile data is working fine and all other functions are working. 
But simply i cannot make calls and no other call are coming to my phone and it is showing switched off to them. I am really worried. Please help me out.

Yeah search in google how to perform cache partition for S8. Usually, after an update, sometimes these issues come. Clearing cache partition helps sometimes.

If that too doesn't work, then I guess you would have to take out the sim card and check whether call facility is working on another device.

Sim is working completely fine, I checked it on another device.
The problem is with my phone( Samsung galaxy S8+)setting I guess, after updation. And that I am not able to detect.
So should I visit to the Samsung mobile store?

Ok. Then yes, you would have to visit service center. They would flash stock firmware into your device. Do note that this process will wipe all your data, so make sure you take a backup of all your files.

Meanwhile, you could try using Jio Call, available in Play Store. It makes/receives calls via internet.

Hi I too facing this issue after security patch update .. volte not working in my s8 edge ... did u problem resolved if so how ?
