The Brutal News for any company would be a trade ban which would lead to loss of customer base in todays Ferocious Competition.

But since the Ban Huawei has launched many smartphones without Google Mobile Services (GMS) that means no Google Play Store. The latest smartphone being Huawei P40 Pro

Well why is this news then.

Well Huawei Has smartly opened ways to use Google Maps, Translation and drive.

The company is currently linking to the web versions of Google Maps, Translate, and Drive in the Huawei AppGallery. There are no APKs yet, but this is a decent solution for the time being. Hopefully, we will see genuine Google apps in the AppGallery one day.

“We hope Google services can be available through our AppGallery, just like how Google services are available through Apple’s App Store,” Huawei’s Rotating Chairman Eric Xu told CNBC.

Huawei Being Smart

There is no guarantee that Huawei will attempt this approach yet, but it makes a lot of sense. Apple devices can get Google’s apps from the App Store even though the company’s handsets come with a different OS. So, if Google can deliver its apps on iOS, it could do the same for Huawei.

So Huawei is prepared for Both Google services and Harmony OS.
