Hello my Galaxy M33, about Phone Status it's official, but checking with other root identifiers, my phone is rooted, I'm even failing to use other apps that doesn't support rooted devices!

It sounds like your Samsung Galaxy M33 is showing "official" in the About Phone > Status section, which usually means it hasn't been tampered with. However, root checker apps and some other apps are detecting it as rooted, which is why they're blocking access.

Here are a few reasons this might happen and how you can address it:

---

Possible Reasons:

1. Previous Rooting or Custom ROMs: Even if you've unrooted the phone or reinstalled the stock ROM, some root detection tools may still catch remnants (e.g., modified bootloader, leftover SU binaries).

2. Magisk or Root Hiding Tools: If you used Magisk to root and later "hide" the root, some apps still detect it. Recent versions of apps have stronger root detection.

3. Knox Tripped: Samsung Knox, once tripped (eFuse), permanently marks the device as modified. This doesn't reset even if you unroot. Some apps use Knox status to check for integrity.

---

Steps to Check & Fix:

1. Check Root Status Clearly:

Use apps like Root Checker or Magisk Manager.

Run the su command via a terminal app to see if superuser access is granted.

2. Unroot via Magisk (if installed):

Open Magisk > Settings > Uninstall Magisk.

Reboot and verify again with Root Checker.

3. Flash Stock Firmware via Odin (Clean Install):

Download your device’s official firmware from sites like SamMobile or Frija.

Flash with Odin to fully revert your system, including bootloader and recovery.

This can remove all traces of root (though Knox will stay tripped if it was).

4. SafetyNet & Play Integrity:

Use YASNAC or Play Integrity API Checker to test if your device passes Google’s integrity checks. Failing these can break apps like banking or streaming apps.

Would you like help finding the correct stock firmware for your device, or do you want to try fixing this without flashing the device?
