Is the TV connected to the same WiFi network as your phone?

Yeah just different bandwidths. Does it need to have a cable connection to connect to my phone?

You mean 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz? That doesn't matter.

No need for cable. Your phone should be able to see the TV.

When you connect for the 1st time, you'll see a prompt on the TV for authorization. You'll have to ALLOW (register) the device to connect first. Have you done that?

Try connecting your device again and you should see the prompt again.

Hope your issue is resolved, Since @TheMystic has explained in better way..But still if you are getting issue I'll be helping you through Images...First you need to Connect your TV & Mobile (Hope it is also from Samsung ) with same Wifi (Wireless) & then press Smart View Button on your Smaratphone tgrough Quick panal..then Select your Visible Tv from there & then Start now..If any pop up message reflects on tv for first time for Connecting (Allow or denay) select allow or else it will be directly Connects after touching "Starts Now".... If Tv model not reflecting then restart your phone check again on your phone's display through Smaratview... Remember in my case (Screenshots) both brands are from Samsung, so i have gone through this way...20220529_181051_19914_1653828051.jpg20220529_180444_19913_1653827684.jpg20220529_181123_19915_1653828083.jpg
