I've noticed opening and closing Google maps feels like 60Hz and also scrolling while scrolling within the app.
Anyone else facing this?

You can check it yourself. In developer option. As this a an non graphic fast moving frame App. 120HZ will not kick in I think. But My S20FE has no adaptive refresh option, so I can force it to 60 or 120 all the time.Screenshot_20211216-100415_Settings_9575.jpg

Dear Samsung Customer,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

Thank you for sharing your concern. We acknowledge your query and apologize for the same. And please follow the easy troubleshooting steps which might help to solve the issue.

From Settings, search for and select Motion smoothness.

Tap Motion smoothness again, and then choose your desired option.

Standard refresh rate - A 60 Hz refresh rate. Use this if you want to save your battery life.

High refresh rate or Adaptive - A 120 Hz refresh rate, which will have all the benefits we discussed.

Note: 120 Hz refresh rate is not supported on WQHD+ resolution or when Power saving mode is enabled. If you switch to this resolution, the refresh rate will drop to 60 Hz.

In case the issue still occurs. Please register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Get help > Send Feedback > Error report).

Thank you for writing to us.
Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support.
