Facing truecaller issues with galaxy devices

So, all the samsung galaxy devices I own are defaulting to truecaller full screen caller ID and not even showing the option for banner ID(Classic style). Only installing the much older version 5.4 of truecaller brings back the ootion to disable full screen caller ID..

I know it's a truecaller issue but I'm noticing this only on samsung devices and not on my father's MI or on my mum Vivo device.

Just curious.

It would be nice ID truecaller acknowledged the issue because they are still stating that we can choose either the full screen or classic style ID on their website.

Truecaller must really stop pushing nonsense features down our throats and just stick to what they do best. I remember a time when they really messed up the app with unnecessary banking features that never worked.

They have this issue. While installation don't click on make it default dialer. It will keep on asking randomly after installation. You can ignore it. They want people to start using their dialers now. Hence the push down the throats.

Plus they have theme issues also. The bright and dark themes don't work with default system settings.

Truecaller responded to my ticket on their app and said that they are deliberately pushing the full screen caller ID for a more 'seamless' experience..I don't understand how replacing the OEM call screen with this is offering a seamless experience

Brother did your issue solve. I would suggest u just do this for me. Once. Take your true caller backup, now after u have taken head straight to your true caller icon button and long press for i button now go inside storage and clear cache and data. Now open your truecaller once more it will ask for your number, after that set as default, after this press truecaller long press once more, this time set under default set calling app phone. U will be good to go. Good luck
