2020 when I purchased S9 from Samsung estore, I was all excited. Samsung Member forum sounded very promising a wonderful platform for users to interact and Samsung to help its customers, should they face issues.
Few months rolled by, Aug 2021 my cherished S9 device developed display tint issues.
On searching the net I was shocked to find S9 tint issues was reported as early as 2018. And hundreds of users have posted their concerns in this community, hoping for a fix from Samsung. And this issue was reported globally for S9 series.
And since 2018, Samsung has been very busy studying countless error logs of S9 series devices with issues, but have not come out with a fix. I was also told to restart in safe mode, then reset, still not working then follow some steps and send error log. Upon doing all these, received another message asking to do the same, and this time even more complicated stuff.
When I took my device to the authorized service centre, they told me the only fix was changing the display for 16k Rs.
If error logs were so important why didnt those technicians do those checks.
And it is not that Samsung has shortage or error log reports pertaining to S9 display issue. Hundreds if not thousands have submitted and confirmed the same on these very forums. Search for S9 issues and you will see for yourself.
Apparently Samsung is too busy launching new models.
Forget the old customers, as long as we have new ones...might be Samsung's thought..
As long as device works or is under warranty, it is all good...the moment one of this stops, then sadly the game changes.
