The device (Samsung Galaxy F62) restarts automatically when kept idle for a long time. As per my primary diagnosis, it's due to incorrect battery optimisation.

 Steps to Reproduce:

 1. Factory reset the phone.

 2. Update all applications and frameworks from the Galaxy Store.

 3. Update all remaining apps from play store.

 Diagnosis done:

 1. Contacted your remote support, but no solution.

 2. Visited your service centre, flashed my phone with firmware. Still no solution

 3. Started my own diagnosis:

 A. Disabled auto optimisation.

B . Auto -restart was already disabled. So, no changes there.
 C. Disabled battery optimisation on a bunch of apps like SHIM, always on display etc.

Once those battery optimisation were disabled, the restart issue got fixed to a great extent. However, the issue still occurs sometimes.

Requesting others facing the same issue to come up with their experiences/views. Awaiting a quick and permanent fix from SAMSUNG ASAP!!!

Just check for me. Does this phone has a auto restart feature if phone is kept unused for a long time.

I checked. Auto restart is disabled by default and hasn't been set to turn on at any time.

Then turn it back on for 1 day and select your day and see.

I did that too. The device restarted at the set time. It also restarted whenever the device was idle. So, this didn't provide any solution.

Have u disabled under settings- device care - press 3 dots - advance tab auto restart off.
Or open setting on the search box right auto restart click and uncheck it. And see if this helps.

Have checked all those. Auto restart is off. Seemed like some issue with battery optimisation, which is disabling some critical applications required for the device to function.

No I am sharing in the attachment here as u can see in one image where only Saturday is selected at the time at 7.00 am the phone will auto restart and in the second image where I have selected all the images of days the phone will restart daily. At 7.00 am. So I hope your problem will be solved if u uncheck and replying Screenshot_20210531-105147_Device care_18909.jpgScreenshot_20210531-105227_Device care_18910.jpg

I understood your concern. On my phone, this is what was set for auto-restart since factory reset.Screenshot_20210531-105726_Device care.jpg
