Samsung has pioneered smartphone industry by launching two flag ship series. Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series.
S series introduced in 2010, was Samsung's answer to Apple's iPhone. Since then it has become an integral part of Samsung's Mobile range. S series phone is always launched earlier in the year in March and April.
Note series was introduced in 2011 by launching a completely new category of Phablets. It was first phone to pioneer 5.5 inch screen while most of its completion had screen size less than 5 inches. Many saw this gamble by Samsung prone to fail. But in turn Samsung pioneered smartphone industry with bigger screen sizes while it's completion following footsteps of Samsung. Note also featured S pen which has been improved by each year and no other company could pioneer such an excellent package since.
