Take a look at this government alert for those who might be unaware.

Initially, I thought it could be false, so I decided to verify it on CERT-IN's website. There, I discovered that it's indeed true.

Exploration on Samsung's Website:

Even after visiting Samsung's official website, I encountered the same information

However, the presence of technical terms made it unclear whether the issue had been resolved. To seek clarity, I decided to reach out to customer care.

Unfortunately, they outright denied the information, labeling it as false. Despite sharing evidence from CERT-IN and Samsung's security updates website, they insisted on the exclusivity of "https://www.samsung.com/in/," claiming any other information was false.

In response to this, I penned an email to Samsung's service head, highlighting the lack of knowledge among their customer representatives.

what I noticed.
For your information, based on website data, Samsung privately disclosed this issue onSeptember 22, 2023, whereas the Indian Government issued alerts onDecember 13, 2023 (notice the time gap). It's a reminder not to rely solely on media sources.

 Security Patch Release:
According to [Samsung's security update page](https://security.samsungmobile.com/securityUpdate.smsb?year=2023&month=12), they claim that the patch has been released under SMR DEC 2023 (December security patch update).

To stop this, they must have provided updates, but only for high-end phones and new devices, not for all phones running on the mentioned Android version,

They must immediately push patch updates on all vulnerable devices.

Yeah, it seems it has been fixed only dec security patch update(flagship phones only).
It means older device still vulnerable till upcoming update.
