Samsung TV UA55 KS7000 having FW 1220 was perfectly working with high resolution 720P to 4k. Even SD contents were upscaled in native HD. I was getting message in my TV that latest FW 1240 is available and upgrade it. After upgradation I am noticing that performance on resolution has degraded and high resolution contents is appearing like SD content.
Like other brands, Samsung should explain the details of features added/deleted in latest FW but there is no information in web site.
What will be next FW version to address these issues as I was happier with old FW version but after upgrading this version I am fade up.
Mine is a 49" screen size. Facing same problem after the update. When I purchased the TV, the firmware was 1208. It was fine till 1230 update. Now I miss the detailing and there is a lot of noise in the picture. At least a roll back for all updates should have been provided. :(
