I’m writing to request that you please restore support for the original Samsung Quick Share app for Windows or provide access to older versions.
Quick Share was one of the most reliable and fastest ways to transfer files between mobile and PC. I often recommended it to friends and even showcased how much quicker it was compared to other methods. Unfortunately, after the most recent update, the app now displays the message:
“Quick Share is not available on this device. Please use Google’s Quick Share instead.”
With all due respect, Google’s Quick Share does not offer the same quality. The transfer speeds are significantly slower sometimes taking what feels like days to send even small files and the overall user experience just isn’t on the same level.
Samsung’s Quick Share stood out because it was fast, efficient, and user-friendly. Replacing it entirely removes a valuable tool for many of us who rely on it for daily work and sharing.
I strongly urge you to either:
1. Restore support for Quick Share on Windows, or
2. Make older versions available for download, so users who prefer it can continue to use it.
Quick Share was more than just another file-
transfer tool. Please consider keeping it alive for loyal users.
