Hello Samsung Users,

This is the first Samsung device I have purchased & based on my 3 weeks of usage I feel the battery back up is very less when compared to my previous mobile One+5. I am not even getting 14 hours where as my previous mobile gives me more than one day.

Can you plz help me to understand if it is my Individual device specific issue or is this the normal battery backup we can expect from Galaxy S20+ model (Exynos version)

Since I will be travelling mostly,<14hrs battery back up is not enough.

Can any one help me with the tips and tricks to improve my mobile's battery back.

PS: I have gone through so many articles and vedios on battery back up improvement and all those generic things I have already tried but didn't have any significant improvement

It's depending on your usage pattern. And you comparing s20+ battery with oneplus 5 which is the older one older processor also consume the less battery. S20+ is a flagship.

Use dark mode as long as possible, don't put the device with always screen on. While typing disable the haptic feedback. Brightness maximum 40%. It's upto you indoor or outdoor. Clear background apps that you don't need. IF POSSIBLE CARRY A POWERBANK WITH YOU. IT'S THE LAST OPTION.

don't expect any devices in this new era to give a sot of 14hrs..and 7-8 hrs oru sometimes 8+hours i think that's the max you can get...but on moderate use it can easily last a day..
one plus nowadays doesn't give much battery life ..it is because of the powerful processors..
I would suggest you to disable apps from using data in the background, try using dark mode and while traveling its better to y
turn of the edge lighting and always on display if you want..
and exynos too plays a role in this..you'll have to live with it no options...even im using a phone with exynos..😅
