My GalaxyYou can add AdGuard DNS in your Samsung device settings by following these steps:
Method 1: Using Private DNS (Recommended)
- Open Settings on your Samsung device.
- Go to Connections > More connection settings.
- Tap Private DNS.
- Select Private DNS provider hostname.
- Enter one of the AdGuard DNS hostnames:
- Default (No filtering): dns.adguard.com
- Family Protection (Blocks adult content): dns-family.adguard.com
- Tap Save.
Method 2: Using Custom DNS (For Wi-Fi only)
- Go to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi.
- Tap on your connected Wi-Fi network.
- Tap IP settings and change it to Static.
- Scroll down and set the following DNS addresses:
- AdGuard DNS:
- DNS 1: 94.140.14.14
- DNS 2: 94.140.15.15
- Family Protection:
- DNS 1: 94.140.14.15
- DNS 2: 94.140.15.16
- AdGuard DNS:
- Tap Save.
Notes:
- The Private DNS method works for both Wi-Fi and mobile data.
- The Wi-Fi method only applies to the selected network.
- If you face issues, ensure there are no typos in the DNS hostname.
