Phone got wet

I have a S20FE and I took it to a water resort...I have not submerged the phone completely but there were splashes and the phone was wet.

Now the phone's touch is not responsive. When pressing the power button, the lockscreen is visible but touch is not. Then when I came home. The phone was not responding, a LED (not like amoled) screen like black screen was visible.

I have kept my phone in rice now. And I will keep it till the morning.

Has anyone been in such a situation?

I have kept my phone in rice for the entire night. Now, the touch is not working but rest is working. I have connected it to USB mouse and i am able to operate the phone.
I took it to Samsung service centre. They told me phone can get more worse if they open and check.

if you have accidentally dropped your phone in water, it is always wise to take it out immediately and switch it off. Keeping it on at that moment will shorten its circuit board and ruin other parts. Further, this may prevent further damage and help detect potential internal damage.
And Don't Keep in Rice Otherwise Rice Will Go Inside The Ports.Keep it Under Fan or Dry Place.

If You Have Silica Gel Then Keep it On The Mobile. It Will Absorb The Moisture In The Mobile.

I have not switched the phone OFF still. The accident happened yesterday at 6-7pm. I am afraid it will not turn ON again.
The phone is working with a USB mouse. Touch is not working at all.
However, with some five minutes of use and the display starts acting strange. The brightness increases, turns green, flickers and goes completely black.
I think I have to replace the display.

May Be The Display Has Damaged. Can You Tell Me What Was The Depth of Water And How Much Time it Was In Water? Because It is An IP68 Rated Device Means It Can Stay in 1.5 M Depth Water About 30 Minutes

I have not taken it in any depth. It was in my hand and I was recording video, slow motion, selfie video of water slides. A few times was where I fell into water and the phone went inside water with me. But I took it out the moment I stood up.
The depth of water was 1m.

I had a similar situation with my phone. The touch started malfunctioning. After a day of leaving it in the open, the touch was restored but not completly, there's still a part of the screen which is unresponsive .Keep it under the sun and backup sensitive data asap. Once the device has come in contact with water , you never know when the device will stop working

The heat here in Mumbai is intense!! I have kept it in sunlight for 3-4 hrs. But still the touch is not working.
I operate my phone with a USB mouse. But after some time of use the display starts acting strange. It turns green, increases brightness and then gets blank completely
