I am fortunate enough to attend Samsung Members Connect for Galaxy Unpacked event 2025 as part of the Samsung Members Stars program. And had hands on experience with both Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7. I will tell you my top 3 impressions both devices:
1. Galaxy Z Fold7
The device is incredibly thin. So much so that it feels lighter and thinner than my Galaxy S24 Ultra, even when it is folded.
The 200 mp camera makes a lot of difference. This device now is capable of taking similar pictures to S25 Ultra with its main camera.
Improved Hinge mechanism contributes towards its durability and sleek design. I still remember the chunky hinge mechanisms of previous gen folds. They are a thing of the past with this device. It has also reduced the crease at the center of screen now.
Increased width of the display allows it to be used more like a regular smartphone in closed/folded form.
2. Galaxy Z Flip7
The outside display is a lot bigger now. Providing you with opportunity to use it for more interesting things. For example using it as a viewfinder for selfie.
The 4300 mah battery provides it enough juice to last it for a whole day.
The improved hinge mechanism here also contributes towrads better durability and a sleek design. Perfect device as a fashion statement.
50 mp camera with Flex Mode allows it to be a perfect device for taking selfies.
