Need Help regarding one ui 4 update on z fold 3

Till date i still havent received one 4 update on z fold 3.

So i connected my device using smart switch and in smart switch there is a pop up regarding a update update size is around 7gb and details shows is android 12 one ui 4 update should i update my phone with smart switch.

I have some doubts.

1) why is update size soo big.

2) will my phone get factory reset with using smart switch to update my phone

Yes! You can update through smart switch.... infact updating device through smart switch is good compared to FOTA update .
As it Refreshes whole software

Update size is huge because it downloads entire software not only latest firmware

No your phone will not get factory reset .
But better to take a backup

Sometimes it happens ... many Z Flip 3 owners also didn't receive one ui 4 although it is released one month back

not able to download the update when i click update it says it failed as the device is disconnected
